Ganghwa Island Tour

8:00 AM – Pick-up from Hotel in Seoul Pick up guests from their hotel in Seoul and travel to Ganghwa Island, known for its historical landmarks, cultural heritage, and scenic coastal views.

10:00 AM – Bomunsa Temple Visit Bomunsa Temple, a historic Buddhist temple located on Seokmodo Island. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, traditional temple architecture, and scenic views of the surrounding mountains and sea.

11:30 AM – Dolmen in Bugeun-ri Explore the Bugeun-ri Dolmen site, an important prehistoric heritage site featuring ancient megalithic tombs that provide insight into Korea’s early history and burial traditions.

12:30 PM – Lunch Break Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and sample Korean dishes at your own expense.

1:30 PM – Ganghwa Peace Observatory Visit the Peace Observatory, where guests can learn about the division between North and South Korea and view parts of North Korea across the border on clear days.

3:00 PM – Kimchi Museum Tour Discover the history and cultural significance of kimchi, Korea’s traditional fermented vegetable dish. Learn about its preparation, varieties, and importance in Korean cuisine. Please confirm the venue and availability of this activity before finalizing the itinerary.

4:00 PM – Return to Seoul Depart Ganghwa Island and travel back to Seoul.

6:00 PM – Drop-off at Hotel in Seoul Arrive at the guests’ hotel, marking the end of the tour.
